Kai Pedersen, AIA, Director

Kai joined ARO in 2012 and has since managed The Flea Theater, several projects at Brooklyn Botanic Garden, the Calvin Klein Madison Avenue Flagship Refresh and Renovation projects, and the Calvin Klein Paris Showroom. He most recently oversaw the study of an addition for The University of Virginia’s Campbell Hall, Pace University’s 15 Beekman Street, and the 195 District Park Pavilion in Providence. Kai is also a member of ARO’s internal Materials Working Group. Before ARO, he worked at Tod Williams Billie Tsien Architects and Vir.Mueller Architects in New Delhi, India. Kai is a Visiting Assistant Professor at Pratt Institute and holds a B.Arch from the University of Texas at Austin.
