Ruso Margishvili

Ruso joined the firm in 2023 and has since managed projects for Dickinson College’s Holland Union Building and worked on the adaptive reuse of a bank building into a new arts and education hub for Saint Ann’s School in Brooklyn. She is currently managing the design of a new public school at 240 Nassau Street. Before ARO, Ruso worked on academic and institutional projects at Snøhetta and O’Neill McVoy Architects, as well as architecture firms in her hometown of Tbilisi, Georgia. Outside of the firm, Ruso is an illustrator and ran a five-foot-wide art store in Harlem. Ruso holds a B.Arch from the Architecture Faculty of Vilnius Tech and an M.Arch from the College of Architecture at IIT.
