Maeliosa Barstow

Maeliosa joined the firm in 2022 and is currently working on an addition at Harvard Medical School. She has worked on the design of a new building for Rice University’s School of Business, the Green-House at Green-Wood Cemetery, and the drawings for the Architecture. Research. Office. book (2024). She is a member of the office’s internal Materials Working Group. Before ARO, Maeliosa worked with AS_IS Architects in San Francisco. She was instrumental in the design team for the Resilient Coasts: Forests and Adaptation exhibition recently on display at the MAXXI National Museum in Rome and at Princeton University. She has also been published in Pidgin. Maeliosa holds a B.A. in Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley and an M.Arch from Princeton University.
