Thom Chiu, AIA

Thom joined the firm in 2021 and has since contributed to renovation projects for the Upper East Side home of the Mellon Foundation and for Ethical Culture Fieldston School, as well as a design competition for a public park. Thom is also a mentor with ACE Greater New York, leading high-school students through a semester long architectural project. His previous experience includes retail design and educational exhibition design in Chicago, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Chongqing. Thom holds a Bachelor of Interior Architecture from The School of The Art Institute of Chicago and a Master of Architecture from Columbia University, GSAPP. He was the historic preservation fellow at Jay Heritage Center in 2021. He is also on the board of Good City Group, a nonprofit organization experimenting with hyperlocal urban interventions pushing for neighborhood accessibility in underserved neighborhoods in Chicago.
