Akhil Singh
Akhil joined the firm in 2026. Before ARO, he worked as an architectural researcher in New Orleans, LA developing agentic workflows for emerging technologies and served as an instructional assistant at Tulane University. His work has taken him around the world, working at firms in Hawai’i and Delhi, India. His graduate thesis on the post-disaster rebuilding of Lahaina, HI examines climate-adaptive infrastructure and civic reconstruction. His research has been published and presented at the 2025 ACSA National Conference; Akhil won first place nationally in the ACSA Concrete Masonry Design Competition for the “Periurban Firestation” project on civic resilience and thermal mass. He holds a B.A. in Psychology with minors in Architecture and Film Studies from the University of Houston and an M.Arch from Tulane University.
